If you’re tired of all of the fakes and phonies out there, women like Jojo and Remy Ma can most definitely relate (especially Remy). The Foxborough, Mass. singer has collaborated with the Brooklyn lyricist to give us a fun, but very direct anthem that calls out all of the fugazi folks called “FAB.” This joint is the latest cut from her forthcoming album, Mad Love.
JoJo and Remy Ma’s first collaboration track is a very relatable one where they go off on fake friends and jealous ones who don’t want us winning out here. The crooner sounds off on them all on the hook as she sings, “When they smile in your face, but behind you it ain’t well wishes/ When they eatin’ all the food off your plate and they don’t do dishes /When they words and they actions blur and they don’t know different/ No time for these fake a– b-tches.” Remy delivers a heavy handed knockout verse that further drives the point home that frenemies should get from ’round her.
This song follows her collabo with Wiz Khalifa, “F*** Apologies”, and her soulful title track, “Mad Love”. The album will be released on Oct. 14.
