Justin Bieber is in the headlines yet again but this time it’s no monkey business.
The 19-year-old pop star may have to stand before a judge if L.A. County District Attorney Jackie Lacey decides to prosecute the singer for allegedly spitting in his neighbor’s face and threatening to kill him. According to TMZ, the Sheriff has told prosecutors to haul the Canadian musician before a judge.
The alleged assault stemmed from Bieber’s neighbor confronting him for racing his Ferrari around the gated community in Calabasas where he lives last March. The breakneck speed prompted the neighbor to address the situation causing the Biebs to order the neighbor off his property and spit in his face.
The L.A. County Sheriff’s Department investigated the case and sent the file to the D.A. Tuesday (May 7). Law enforcement sources told the media outlet that officials are urging prosecutors to charge the singer with battery while cops have suggested serious counseling for the Believe singer because of his recent antics.
