No matter what your opinion on Justin Bieber is, the one thing we can collectively agree on is that the boy has rhythm, and he wanted to teach fans in Spain his ways during a recent performance.
During an acoustic rendition of his hit collabo “What Do You Mean?” the 21-year-old phenom, who recently released a new Skrillex-produced track, stopped in the middle of the live broadcast to instruct his Beliebers on the proper way to clap to one of his songs, i.e. actually on beat.
“At least clap on the right notes. Come on guys. Stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop, stop. It’s like this, if you’re gonna clap, at least clap on beat,” Bieber said to the crowd while the guitarist continued to strum in the background. The crowd, loyal to their fave, began clapping on beat, and all was right with the world once again.
Although he’s on the road to redemption, Bieber, at times, continues to show signs that he’s still got a little growing up to do. Recently at a concert in Norway, Biebs stormed off stage mid-performance due to some overzealous fans. He later apologized on his Instagram, writing “I don’t always handle things the right way but I’m human and I’m working on getting better at responding not reacting.”
Check out the slightly awkward moment around the 2:30 mark.
