Earlier this year, Justin Timberlake was forced to reschedule dates of his “The Man Of The Woods” in New York due to Nor’Easter. Sadly, the makeup show scheduled for Wednesday (Oct. 24) has been postponed after the singer bruised his vocal chords.
Sharing the news on Instagram to fans, Timberlake says it was doctor’s orders to cancel the show this evening at Madison Square Garden. The “Filthy” singer performed at the sold-out venue on Monday (Oct. 22). In the same post, Timberlake promised fans that the new show–scheduled for his birthday on Jan.31–will be one to remember.
“Hey guys, I’m sorry to announce I have to postpone the show at MSG tonight on doctor’s orders,” wrote the singer-songwriter on his verified account. “My vocal chords are severely bruised. I’m gonna make this up to you and the new show will be on my birthday, January 31.
“More info to come. Again I’m so sorry to do this, but excited to see you soon. Love, J.”
Tickets for the 10/24 show will be honored at the 1/31 show.
