If you’ve ever needed proof miracles can happen, simply take a look at Justin Timberlake’s Instagram in which the singer-songwriter posted a photo of himself and longtime friend, producer and collaborator Pharrell Williams in the studio Thursday (March 17)
“Currently.” was the simple caption Timberlake wrote, but the photo still ignited all kinds of musical hopes for fans of both superstar entertainers.
Timberlake’s last album, The 20/20 Experience Part 1 was released in March 2013 selling 968,000 copies its first week. The first part of a two part record spawned hits such as “Pusher Lover Girl” “Suit & Tie” featuring Jay Z, “Tunnel Vision” and “Let The Groove Get In.” The second half of Timberlake’s musical opus was released nearly six months later and still went to number one of the Billboard charts, but received mix reviews from critics and sold nearly 600,000 less then its predecessor.
In the time away from the spotlight, Timberlake has welcomed his first child, a baby boy, with wife and actress Jessica Biel, and while the 35-year-old is firmly enjoying daddyhood, we’re quite excited about whatever musical collaboration the two are cooking up. So we’ll just stay tuned.
Or maybe Timberlake is just trolling us all and they’re really talking about the latest episode of Scandal, which would suck immensely.
