If you’re an 80s baby who had the luxury of growing up in the 90s, then you know Juvenile helped make Cash Money records (and music from the south) hot.
So it’s a welcomed surprise Juvenile and Cash Money settled their legal woes, and now the beloved New Orleans emcee has a new deal.
Juvie stopped by Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club Thursday morning (March 5) to take a walk down memory lane and discuss his musical come up. The 39 year old rapper recalled seeing Scarface visit his neighborhood record store and the impact it had on him before getting signed, then performing at New York’s The Tunnel night club and also hearing Jay Z’s verse on the “Ha” remix.
Watch the video below to hear Juvenile discuss his latest mixtape, when he learned his son could rap and his plans with Cash Money.
