Kanye West isn’t beginning his 2020 presidential campaign quite yet, but it seems the outspoken rapper is planning to build his political creds at the upcoming San Francisco Democratic National Committee fundraiser. Mr. West will perform at the fundraiser and reportedly debut new music from his highly anticipated (and pushed back) album, SWISH.
West announced that he’ll be performing at the event on Oct. 10. The afternoon event, which will be held in the Warfield theater, has a pretty extensive RSVP list, including President Obama.
It’s unsure of what to expect from his newest music, but when does Ye ever disappoint? After killing this performance and shaking hands with some of the Democratic Party’s elite, Kanye might earn enough support to officially start his campaign.
