Frank Ocean’s last-minute cancellation of his headlining set at this year’s FYF fest left a few people disappointed, but they got quite a consolation prize from Kanye West on Saturday night (Aug. 22). Replacing Ocean as the man of the hour, Yeezy’s set proved to be a welcomed distraction for fans who may or may not have still been reeling in the singer’s absence.
Running through his plethora of hits and fan favorites, West performed tracks such as 2005’s “Power,” Yeezus standouts “Blood On The Leaves” and “Black Skinhead,” as well as his latest offering, “All Day.” But it was West’s guest appearances that took his set to new heights, featuring appearances from Rihanna and Travis Scott. Scott hit the stage to perform his anthems, “Upper Echelon” and “Antidote,” while Ri-Ri joined West for “All Of The Lights,” and “FourFiveSeconds.”
