Although a few melodies like “Famous” from Kanye West’s The Life Of Pablo album took a minute to feature on other music streaming sites like Spotify and Apple Music, the Chicagoan’s project just reached a new milestone on its digital home, Tidal.
According to Billboard, TLOP was streamed over 250 million times within the first 10 days of its debut. In addition to this feat, Tidal saw a doubled boost in subscribers, which follows the news of the company celebrating its one year anniversary and 2.5 million global subscribers.
Given this news, West previously expressed that his project will never be up for sale, tweeting that the only way to get his latest soundscape will be on Tidal.
My album will never never never be on Apple. And it will never be for sale… You can only get it on Tidal.
