Kanye West has consistently expressed his knack for improving schools, and even designing uniforms for learning facilities. But now, the Windy City native is receiving the highest distinction from a certain institution.

In an interview with French program Clique, the DONDA founder revealed that he’ll add “Doctor” to the beginning of his moniker after he receives an honorary doctorate from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
Expressing that he’s been a “gifted artist since age five and won national competitions and went to art school,” the “School Spirit” rapper, who previously attended Chicago State University for a year, will be honored with the degree on May 11.
