Kanye West stopped by The FADER on Thursday (Sept. 27) to share updates regarding his forthcoming album Yandhi.
Announced just last week, the project is slated to drop sometime on Saturday evening (Sept. 29). Features from Ty Dolla $ign, XXXtentacion, Tekashi 6ix9ine, and Rihanna will fill the soundscape, the publication reports.
During his visit, West is said to have sampled more than a few songs for Yandhi, though none of them are thought to be finished. Infamous for making a ton of post-drop changes to his digital albums, it’s hard to say how many of the unfinished tracks will make it on the final release.

Regardless, hip-hop’s hook honcho Ty Dolla $ign is likely to make the cut since he was heard on multiple tracks. Vocals by 6ix9ine and XXX each appeared on a single track. According to West, Rihanna’s verse has not yet been recorded, however, if all goes as planned, this will be the “Work” singer’s first musical release since 2017.
In light of his big release, West is also slated to perform on Saturday Night Live for its 44th season premiere this Saturday (Sept. 29).
Hosted by actor Adam Driver, the “Ghost Town” rapper is likely to perform one of his newly released tracks during the celebratory episode – but if it was up to him, he would have preferred to have Louis C.K. as the host, West told the publication.
West also shared a snippet of what’s to be expected:
