This news might give Seth Rogen and James Franco a run for their money. Kanye West’s 2013 melody “Bound 2” served as the basis for a new children’s book titled Bound 2Gether.
Created by graphic designer Zak Tebbal, the publication features Yeezy’s likeness and a chick with the name Kim. The synopsis of the book follows the Chi-town artist’s search for his missing chick, which he eventually finds through a series of illustrations. Peep a few images below.
In an interview with The Fader, Tebbal said, “I made Bound 2Gether as part of my senior design thesis at SVA [School of Visual Arts] this year. The prompt was to take an important piece of art and translate it into another medium.” Tebbal continued, “The translation of ‘Bound 2’ into a children’s book felt appropriate because the only audience that Kanye isn’t reaching right now is toddlers, and they are missing out on some of the important life lessons that Kanye has to offer. As a big Kanye fan, I felt the need to fill this void.”
