Kap G could have another hit in the chamber after the success of his breakout single, “Girlfriend.” The 22-year-old rapper teams with Pharrell on “Icha Gicha,” from his recently released mixtape, SupaJefe.
Kap takes the lead on the track, before passing the baton to Pharrell for a relay-style rap session marking their first official time spitting on a record together.
“He was on my first project Like a Mexican, and on my second project El Southside, but he only produced,” Kap told Rap-Up in January of his I Am Other label boss. “This [track] is actually me and him collaborating so it’s dope. It’s incredible.
“That’s the big homie,” he noted. “I’ve been a fan of bro since I was a young’n too. He like the G.O.A.T. Everything people doing now is really because of him. He’s the G.O.A.T.”
Aside from the Skateboard P collaboration, SupaJefe features Chris Brown and Atlanta artist, Dae Dae.
