Life will either make one bow down, or man up and grind against the odds. New York City spitter Kay Anthony has no problem throwing blows against the grain.
On his latest bangers, “Forgive Me,” (featuring Oya Noire) and “Lord Father,” the hungry and vicious MC rolls out his frustration about life’s ill hard knocks, yet remains firm in the face of adversity like true gangstas do.
“This song comes from so much stress in life,” Anthony revealed. “My mom moved down south and I had to make the decision of staying in NYC and being homeless and grinding it out, or move with her and give it up. I decided to stay. I’m willing to struggle for this dream. I’m destined for this. I just have this weird feeling that I will be one the best.”
In the songs’ visuals, Anthony finds himself on a church bench indulged in a humble convo with his Maker. Then, he’s posted in his hood dropping that all black hoody rap.
