Anything Kaytranada touches is magic. The Haitian DJ recently dropped new versions of Chance the Rapper and Solange’s singles from their respective albums, and the new tracks are sure to get you and dancing.
On Tuesday (Oct. 11), Kaytranada released a remix of Solange’s “Cranes in the Sky,” from her recent, No. 1 album A Seat at the Table, which he first previewed during a performance at NYC’s Terminal 5 last week. Kaytranada speeds up the track, giving it a more electric twist in contrast to the original single’s more mellowed and soulful sound.
Shortly after, the producer also dropped a remix of Chance the Rapper’s “All Night” form his highly acclaimed album, Coloring Book. While the initial song is already an upbeat track, Kaytrnada slows things down and seems to isolate the beat more.
Kaytranada released his debut album 99.9% in May, followed by the 80-minute project 0.001%. He is currently touring around North America until Nov. 2016.
