Kendrick Lamar’s new album is arguably the most anticipated album in hip-hop to date.
But the Compton native isn’t giving fans a release date or even a morsel of what they can expect, which of course, makes fans want the sophomore follow up to good kid, m.A.A.d city even more.
The reclusive artist stopped by Sirius XM’s DJ Whoo Kid to chop it up a bit and when asked who had a copy of the album, Kendrick offered up a surprising response.
“You gonna have to go through my little brother,” he said, “No, real talk. He has it. He has the album and he told me what he likes. That’s my A&R right there. He has a sophisticated ear. He’s in somebody’s elementary [school] right now knowing all the lyrics. Telling ’em, Watch.”
