Kendrick Lamar is keeping the features at a minimum for his follow up to 2012’s good kid m A. A.d city. While speaking to Rolling Stone, the Compton MC revealed that if you’re looking for a lot of his fellow rappers, you’ll be disappointed.
“I have so much to say,” he said. “It’s almost selfish of me.”
K.Dot has been a bit of recluse while recording his project. While details are damn near non-existent on his project, fans can expect the lyricist to work with Aftermath boss Dr. Dre and TDE’s producers Digi + Phonics.
According to Rap Up, Kendrick wants fans to expect a lot of “agression” and “emotion” on the new album.
So what do we know: Kendrick’s working with Dr. Dre, which is always a good thing. There aren’t many features, which is fine because we really only want to hear Kendrick and he’s bringing a lot of aggression and emotion.
Sounds like a classic to me.
