After releasing his first single, “Location” back in May, El Paso, Texas native, Khalid has finally brought the track to life. The teenage signer recently dropped his first music video, where he’s coasting through the desert.
In the new video, Khalid heads back to his hometown. Debuting his dope taste in vintage cars, Khalid cruises through the sand to meet up with friends. In addition to showing stunning landscape views, the video also takes fans on a quick tour, focusing on all of the beauty that El Paso has to offer.
In a recent interview, Khalid revealed the music video was supposed to show the beauty of his city. “I have so much love for El Paso and being able to return home to shoot a music video there was incredible,” he told The Fader. “In all honesty, I feel as if it was the first city that I’ve ever lived in that truly accepted my creativity. I’m excited to finally give back and show off where I came from.”
