After entering a rehabilitation program to cope with anxiety and depression, Kid Cudi appears to be in much better spirits. Upon his return, the rapper released a heartfelt note to dozens of celebrity friends and his loyal fans, thanking them for all of their support during his difficult time.
“Thank You for opening your hearts and extending your love and support during a troubling time. I wanted to let yall know it meant the world to me.,” he wrote on Facebook on Monday (Nov. 21). In the post, Cudi gave a special thanks to Kanye West, whom he had recently feuded with prior to entering rehab, A$AP Rocky, Pharrell Williams, Raury, Wiz Khalifa, and many more. “I have nothing but love for you,” he added. “Words can’t really express how much it made my heart glow.”
The Man on the Moon artist also commented on his current state of mind. “I look forward to better days. Feelin’ great and brand new,” he continued. “Can’t wait to run into each and everyone of you and deliver a big hug. Be ready! Peace, love and light to all!!”
Kid Cudi initially announced in October he would be attending rehab in order to cope with depression and suicidal urges. He reportedly completed three to four weeks of his program, before being released. The “Through the Lights” rapper’s latest Facebook post follows his post-rehab performance at ComplexCon. The rapper also joined Kanye at his Saint Pablo Tour in Sacramento show earlier in the week. Check out his full letter above.
