In case you missed it, Puff Daddy’s son Christian Combs inked a record deal with Bad Boy Records earlier this year. Being that Christian, a.k.a, King Combs, has been around his mogul dad his entire life, it’s safe to say that King picked up priceless gems on constructing radio hits.
Well this week, King Combs delivered his first offering to the world with “Party.” Borrowing Queen Pens’ hit song, “Party Ain’t A Party,” Combs flows over the summertime, radio-friendly banger. The song also features his crew CYN & SNL. And he sounds comfortable and confident on the mic, too, which makes one believe that he’s been putting in serious hours in at the studio.
Also, King Combs rolled out a second single with “One For Me.” Here, on the Tank-produced track, Combs samples SWV’s hit song, creating another radio-friendly track.
