Musician Lana Del Rey revealed her collaboration with The Weeknd for “Lust For Life” on Wednesday (Apr. 19).
The twosome’s mysterious and sultry track will appear on Del Rey’s upcoming fifth album of the same name, and the audio video features the two singing to one another while sitting on the Hollywood sign.
“Maybe that’s kind of weird to have a feature on the title track, but I really love that song and we had said for a while that we were gonna do something; I did stuff on his last two records,” said Del Rey on having The Weeknd on the song. She was featured on his Starboy album on the tracks “Prisoner” and “Stargirl Interlude.”
The Weeknd recently took to Instagram to thank Lana for including him in the song, noting that he’s the first featured artist on her discography (not counting the “Summertime Sadness” remix with Cedric Gervais).
