
If you had the pleasure of growing up in the 90s, then you understand the cultural and lyrical magnitude of The Fugees. Wyclef, Pras and Lauryn Hill collectively captured magic in a bottle when they created music, and then shared it with the masses on their groundbreaking album The Score.
And while they’ve since parted ways individually taking on legendary status, strolling down memory lane to where it all began is essential in what some deem to be a lackluster musical landscape.
Late Monday night (November 30) the good folks over at Montreality went diggin’ in the crates to find a 1994 Yo! MTV Raps interview featuring the group. While the entire trio was in attendance, the camera zoomed in on 19-year-old Lauryn who’s showed early traces of what we would all soon grow to love.
