Hailing from Virginia, the place for lovers (hustlers, the kid aims to keep up tradition set up VA greats like Pharrell, Timbaland, Missy and the Clipse. Levi recently blessed the Internet with a new single titled “Michael Jack” — which contains a vocal sample from the late Pimp C.

The track has that new age bounce with its knockin’ drums and high hats, but it also has a brassy soul sample. Carter released a full-length project earlier in the year titled Presence of a Lord which you can also check out if you need to get more familiar with Levi’s signature sound.
