Lil B has confirmed that he’s featured on Frank Ocean’s Boys Don’t Cry and the Berkeley-born rapper seems to have formed a deep friendship with the “Novacane” crooner.
In a recent interview with Dazed, Lil B gave some vague details about their collaboration, which in turn confirms that the album does, in fact, exist. “He called me to come out and do some stuff for his album, Boys Don’t Cry, that’s coming out,” he said. “Frank is amazing.”
The BasedGod also shared his many blessings for the elusive Channel Orange singer.
“He’s a beautiful man with a beautiful voice,” he said. “He’s a very strong man, a very strong person. Anything I can do to help him, I will.”
So if studio time has fostered this deep connection between the two, where is the music? Lil B had this to say: “Let’s see what Frank releases. Frank has the material.”
Your move, Frank.
