The boys showed out on the BET stage in a tropical set of some of their individual hits, before teaming up for a gem off their joint album Drip Harder (Sept. 9).
Lil Baby began their short set, with “Yes Indeed,” encircled by women to perform his collaborative track with hip-hop supernova Drake.
As Baby wrapped up he passed the torch to Gunna. The 25-year old rapper sat surrounded by women in front of a desert backdrop, as he performed his hook from “Yosemite,” a highlight from Travis Scott’s Astroworld.
The pair eventually united to bring a joint performance of the stand-out track “Drip Too Hard,” which pays homage to their respective mixtapes Drip and Hard. As they joined forces, their collaboration prompted a spicy swimwear fashion show by the models.
Both artists have been shining this year. Lil Baby joined Drake and Migos on their Aubrey & the Three Migos’ Tour to perform his track “Yes Indeed” alongside Drake, while Gunna appeared on Usher’s new album A.
