The “Free Lil Boosie” campaign may have hit a roadblock. After reports that the rapper would be coming home this month, it seems his release date has been pushed back. Music scribe Jeff Weiss took to his Twitter to say that the “Zoom” rapper probably won’t be home until March.
Boosie still has to finish up some classes & then his release date will be officially re-calculated — tentatively, he’ll be home in March.

It seems that his parole hearing for Feb. 13 was cancelled since his release date is steadily approaching. Weiss also reported that Boosie has some coursework to finish up during his bid, thus rescheduling his release date.
Just received confirmation that Boosie will not be getting out of jail next week. However, his release is imminent — most likely in March.

The New Orleans MC was supposed to be serving eight years in a Louisiana state penitentiary for drug charges but it was revealed last December that he would be released in August 2014. His brother and manager later announced that his final court date had been moved up to Feb. 13 and that he would be a free man soon after.
A parole board hearing was scheduled for Boosie next week but was canceled, because it didn’t make sense considering his release is so soon.
