Lil Pump and Gucci Mane kicked off the 2018 BET Hip-Hop awards on Tuesday night (Oct. 16) with a hot, three-song medley.
The “I Love It” rapper began his set with his standout hit, “ESKEETIT” before transitioning into to his 2017 breakout song, “Gucci Gang” with Guwop providing his signature ad-libs throughout the performance.
The two closed their set with a collaborative performance of the Pump-assisted track “Kept Back,” initially dropped by Gucci Mane on Zane Lowe’s Beats1 Radio back in August 2018.
Setting the tone for the rest of the night, Lil Pump and Gucci Mane sported an assortment of eye-blinding chains, combining their iciness, face tats and puffer jackets for a memorable performance.
Only the beginning on the BET’s performance roster, the 2018 BET Hip-Hop Awards also featured performances from T.I., Yo Gotti, Cardi B, Lil Baby, Gunna, YG and many more.
Always betting on the young guy, Gucci Mane is currently set to embark on a 12-date tour with Smokepurpp and Carnage. He is reportedly set to drop his 13th studio album Evil Genius sometime in October 2018. As for Lil Pump, the young rapper was recently forced to cancel his fall tour in light of his upcoming jail sentence.
