Lil Pump is back with more heat. The 18-year-old rapper is showing no signs of slowing down when he dropped his new single, “Multi-Millionaire” on Friday (Oct. 5), with fellow millennial hip-hop peer Lil Uzi Vert. The track arrives not too long after Pump’s recent hit “I Love It” with Kanye West. As of Friday morning, the song is currently sitting at No. 81 on the iTunes Hip-Hop Charts.
“Multi-Millionaire” features heavy drums topped with an electro-laser melody that promotes Lil Pump, born Gazzy Garcia’s signature one-word repeat. He has used this method on his previous hit “Gucci Gang,” along with cocky manneristic lyrics. Lil Uzi Vert comes into the song at the second repeat of the hook as well as his guest verse where he used auto-tune for the latter. The song’s title very much sounds like a reference to the news back in March that Pump reportedly signed a deal with Warner Bros. Records for a hefty $8 million.
“Multi-Millionaire” doesn’t mark the first time the rap titans have worked together in the studio. Pump and Uzi Vert were both on DestoDubb’s “Bankteller.” The Gucci Mane-sampled track is expected to be on Pump’s new project Harverd Dropout.
No official word yet on when the album will be released although his upcoming tour of the same name was canceled due to “unforeseen circumstances.” Many fans speculated this could be due to his ongoing legal issues.
