A 16-year-old in Pasco County, Fla., reportedly threatened to shoot up his school because—wait for it—Lil Uzi Vert has yet to release his new mixtape, LUV Is Rage 2, XXL reports.
The unnamed student at Ridgewood High School posted a Facebook status writing, “Drop luv is rage 2 before I shoot up my school.” Immediately after authorities caught wind of the message, they arrested him on Thursday (May 12).
Additionally, law enforcement officials had a conversation with the teen, his mother, and his brother. Reportedly, two guns were found in their home inside a lockbox, yet its key was missing. However, the owners opened the box to show officials the firearms were still inside. The teen has been suspended.
Initially, the post garnered close to 200 Likes, and was probably taken lightly. Still, authorities and parents were concerned considering how prevalent the threats of school shootings have been in the area. Despite this peril, a couple of students in nearby R.B. Stewart Middle School reportedly made attempts of a mass shooting. The first threat came from John Long Middle School where two students allegedly wanted to enlist others to shoot up their school.
