2 Chainz and Lil Wayne made a guest appearance on ESPN’s Highly Questionable earlier this week. The two were supposed to talk about their new, collaborative project, Collegrove, but instead spilled the tea on the behind-the-scenes lifestyles of the rappers in this hilarious 7-minute clip.
The clip starts off with hosts, Bomani Jones and Dan Le Batard firing off a couple of hot-seat questions, starting with “athletes you’re most responsible for making tired by partying.” 2 Chainz took the lead on the question, talking in code to Wayne. The two apparently misinterpreted the question to be athletes they were most responsible for ending their career by partying, naming Jamarcus Russell as one. After a hilarious moment of laughter and a little explanation, the two named Jr Smith. And that’s where story time came into play.
Wayne told the Highly Questionable crew of a time he and Cleveland Cavaliers star JR Smith got into a sticky situation with a female companion and her friend in Vegas. And yes, it would be what you would imagine to happen to Lil Wayne.
The final question asked what the southern rappers’ craziest night in the studio looked like. While 2 Chainz declined from giving up all the details, he assured everyone they have a good time. “All that old stuff, parties and stuff you see in the movies, we did that. It’s kind of private. We don’t make them sign no paper work because we try to explain that we are real players… When they come around us, they leave with smiles.” he said with some hilarious cosigning from Weezy.
