Lil Wayne offered an apology Wednesday (Nov. 2) for his controversial comments about the Black Lives Matter movement during his interview with Nightline.
The good folks over at TMZ caught up with Weezy F and the New Orleans rapper explained his stance on the disturbing sit-down, and said he became agitated with the reporter when she questioned him about his daughter.
“When the reporter began asking me questions about my daughter being labeled a b**h and a h*e, I got agitated. From there, there was no thought put into her questions and my responses,” the 34-year-old rapper said. “Apologies to anyone who was offended.”
Wayne’s apology come a little too late as many have taken to Twitter to state their opinion on his comments, which for the most part weren’t great.
What got me about the #LilWayne interview? I didn’t expect much from him and he STILL found a way to disappoint me.
Bravo my dude…
