Lil Wayne has been on the media carousel to promote his new memoir that detailed his time in prison back in 2010, Gone ‘Till November: A Journal Of Rikers Island. During the candid conversation with HipHollywood, Weezy revealed that there’s no coming back from the fragmented relationship with Birdman, who has held the Carter V hostage in an ongoing legal battle.
When asked if there was any chance at reconciliation with Baby, the New Orleans native said, “I’m 34 baby, I’m too old for friends.” Jasmine Simpkins relayed the notion that he was dumbing it down and they were more like family. Wayne quickly brought that idea to a halt replying, “No, his last name isn’t Carter baby, he’s not family.”
The “Stuntin’ Like My Daddy” artists put out a project together back in 2006 titled, Like Father Like Son as Wayne used to reference the Cash Money president as his ‘father.’ Hopefully the duo can settle their differences in court to give the culture the project Wayne claims to be “so much better than everything I’ve ever heard.”
