It’s a strange day in hip-hop when Lil’ Wayne is outright saying “F**k Cash Money,” but that day is here and we still can’t believe it. At a recent show, Wayne straight up lets it be known he’s entirely over Cash Money Records.
While up on stage, he promotes his album, Free Weezy, as well as Tha Carter V (even though no formal release date has been solidified).
On the other end of the YMCMB spectrum, Birdman and Young Thug are heavily promoting the new protégé’s new single “Check,” from the forthcoming Tha Carter 6. No Carter 5, but we’re seeing a Carter 6? Okay.
