Amid all the recent success Lil Wayne has had with his collaboration with 2 Chainz on ColleGrove, and the slew of cameos he has made on Samsung commercials; trouble has arrived in form of a rather large lump sum.
Turns out, Wayne’s lawyer Michael Kramer filed a lawsuit in Manhattan Federal Court against the rapper for a hefty 280K, which allegedly the New Orleans rapper has missed or refused to pay. Kramer happens to be the same lawyer that Wayne enlisted to sue Cash Money and Birdman over the delay of The Carter V, reports Page Six.
Reports state that Kramer had agreed to receive payments in installments since December of 2015. However, Wayne has made his payments for the months of December and January 2016, yet missed one for February.
Hopefully Tunechi solves this financial conundrum rapidly. Further details for this story are pending.
