Lil Wayne’s Miami Beach home was raided by cops on Tuesday (Nov. 3) after the Young Money CEO failed to pay a $2 million judgment plus lawyer fees to the private jet leasing company Signature Group, TMZ reports. Some of his belongings were seized from the complex, even after his security tried to shoo police off the property.
A court order from a Miami-Dade County judge working on the lawsuit between Signature and Wayne noted that police are, in fact, able to break the lock of Weezy’s home with or without his permission and seize valuable assets found in the house. Items like unwrapped paintings, skateboards and even one of his Cash Money plaques were taken from the mansion yesterday, says WSVN News. Tunechi, who was not on the property at the time, has yet to comment on the raid, however, he did send out a couple of cryptic tweets this morning about how he “questions” himself.

It’s been quite the roller coaster for the rapper this year. He recently took to Twitter to announce his plans to drop his new mixtape No Ceilings 2 on Thanksgiving Day, and will headline the first “History In Tampa” festival this upcoming weekend. He also has been on the controversial side of the news after a sex tape of his leaked online. Let’s hope that things look up for his personal life soon.
