The Zulu Nation was founded by musical pioneer Afrika Bambaataa, and it seeks to provide educational outlets for the youth and uplift the black community. The news of the Young Money label head’s new membership comes days after the recent Ferguson, Mo. protests on the non-indictment of Officer Darren Wilson who fatally shot unarmed 18-year-old Michael Brown on Aug. 9.
