Lil Wayne’s life is a literal and figurative roller-coaster ride.
A judge has ordered the rapper to pay his former lawyers at least $47,000 within the next week or he could face more legal trouble, the Jasmine Brand reports.
The June 14 ruling stems from a 2015 lawsuit filed by the lawyers of Garbett, Allen & Roza (not to be confused with his other lawyer, Michale Kramer, who is also suing over a separate bill).
According to the GAR suit, Wayne owes the firm $80,682.45, for representing him in a $2 million private jet lawsuit, which he also lost.
The lawyers sued for more than $300,000 to cover Weezy’s outstanding balance, plus damages.
Despite reaching a reported settlement with the lawyers, Wayne apparently skipped out on his payment plan for the last three months.
He now has until Jun 24 to cut the check.
