Lil Wayne’s legal mishaps continue to build and build. The “Right Above It” rapper reportedly received a mandate to pay $96,000 to Pyrotek Special Effects, TMZ reports.
The lawsuit arrives after Weezy apparently neglected to pay the company for their services following a 2013 tour. Among the Young Money leader’s purchases, he bought fireworks ranging from comets to exploding powder.
The involved parties did reach a settlement during the initial point of agreement after the pyrotechnic entity sued Wayne, but the New Orleans native reportedly never paid his end of the bargain, thus leading to this mandated sum.
In recent weeks, Wayne’s valuable assets were seized by the police in Miami, Fla., taking one-of-a-kind art pieces, sports memorabilia, and more coveted items out of his mansion. The reason for the raid was due to an outstanding bill that Wayne owed to jet leasing company, Signature Group. The famed lyricist reportedly failed to meet a $2 million tab that he owed the jet entity. The news also inspired a few thoughts from Wayne, which he posted to his Twitter account.
