Fresh off the hype surrounding his new viral challenge, Lil Wayne has released the music video for his single “Uproar” on Friday (Oct. 19). The video, which features special appearances from Swizz Beatz and Shiggy, will undoubtedly make you want to get up and start dancing.
In the 3-minute video, Wayne and Swizz step into red-tinted room. As the beat drops, the camera cuts to Shiggy – who recently appeared in Drake’s “In My Feelings” video – and other street dancers as they flex their best dance moves. “What the f**k though? Where the love go? / Five, four, three, two, I let one go / Bow! Get the f**k though, I don’t bluff, bro,” Tunechi raps.
As previously noted, “Uproar” influenced a viral dance challenge after it was released in Sept. 2018. The song is from Wayne’s recently released album Tha Carter V. The 23-track project also features appearances from Kendrick Lamar, XXXTentacion, Nicki Minaj, Nivea, and more. The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, selling 480,000 equivalent album units in its first week. Not too shabby for a four-year-old project.
