Rapper Lil Xan has run into some health issues, but not for the reason you think based on his suggestive moniker. Just before the start of his Outbreak Tour with Monster energy drink, Xan, real name Diego Leanos, had to make a pit stop at the hospital after allegedly consuming too many Flamin’ Hot Cheetos. According to him, the beloved spicy snack ruptured the inside of his stomach.
“I went to the hospital today. You know, getting ready to pack for this tour. I just want to let everybody know I was in the hospital—not due to any drugs—but I guess I ate too many Hot Cheetos and I guess it ripped something in my stomach open, so I puked a little blood,” the 21-year-old said yesterday (Sept. 24). His Instagram story even offered a glimpse of his ambulance ride.
Lately, entertainers have had their fans spooked when it comes to health concerns—especially after Mac Miller‘s tragic passing. However, after getting himself checked out and presumably the green-light from medical personnel, Xan assures his fans that he’s in good health, sober and the 34-city North American tour will go on as scheduled. Wednesday (Sept. 26), the tour kicks off in New York.
Stay healthy, Xan.
