Lil Yachty took to social media Tuesday (Sept. 4) to tweet about being racially profiled while driving in Georgia.
“Wow a white cop really just pulled me over just to ask me for the bill of sale on my car because he didn’t believe it was mine. Wtf.” Yachty, real name Miles Parks McCollum tweeted.
Nearly an hour later 21-year-old Yachty continued to describe what happened when he was pulled over by the cop. “I didn’t do anything wrong. He literally just doesn’t believe it’s my car. Sh*t is crazy.”
Lil Boat didn’t specify what type of car he was driving or where in Georgia he was driving, but judging by the tweets, it’s safe to assume he produced the proper documentation to satisfy the officer’s query.
The Quality Control rapper loves his expensive vehicles and enjoys sharing the wealth he’s accumulated amongst friends. On Aug. 16, he took to social media after purchasing his best friend a Ferrari for his birthday.
It’s a sucky situation, but glad everything was able to be settled amicably.
