In celebration of the New York Knicks’ victory over the Charlotte Hornets, Lloyd Banks released “something new” as promised via Twitter Friday (Nov. 25).
The Queens rapper revived his “Blue Friday” series with the reflective track, “Misunderstood,”
If the Knicks win tonight I'll drop something new..

The Beat Butcha-produced track offers a tempo rhythm beneath Banks gritty bars as he spits, “Don’t need my haters sad to satisfy me/Wasn’t for favors I be splattered probably/Grew up with murderers never had a Cosby.”
Considering the release of his mixtape, All or Nothing: Live It Up, earlier this year in addition to this track, it can be assumed Banks is inching his way closer to his first studio album since 2010’s H.F.M. 2 (The Hunger for More 2).
