Lupe Fiasco fans have something to look forward to after the Chi-town rapper teased the album artwork for part two of his highly-acclaimed sophomore album, The Cool. The artwork for #C2, which was posted on Instagram on Tuesday (Oct. 20), is visually similar to the image for the first version of the album.
Fiasco, who released his most recent album Tetsuo & Youth this past January, has hinted at a sequel to The Cool – an album that many hail as his best – for quite some time. In September, he tweeted a picture of a skeleton hand putting up the number two with its fingers, adding “Be patient…its gonna be a while but we hard at work.” He is also no stranger to making sequels to previous albums in his collection; he released Food & Liquor II in 2012, which was the follow up to his 2006 debut, Lupe Fiasco’s Food & Liquor.
Guess we’ll just have to wait and see what he’s working on- patience is a virtue!
