The back-and-forth between Eminem and Machine Gun Kelly is turning up, so much that MGK decided to release the official music video to accompany his new diss track, “Rap Devil.”
In the dark visual, a bare-chested, tattoo-clad Kelly walks around comfortably in sliders and black slacks. With a bowl of cereal and shovel alternating in his hand in between shots, the Bad Boy-Interscope artist eyes the camera straight-on and candidly voices his thoughts about his former idol.
Earlier this month, Eminem shared a few choice words to Kelly on his latest album, Kamikaze, where he shared a few choice words to his label mate after he jokingly talked about his daughter, Hailie Scott-Mathers in a now-deleted tweet from 2012.
The 28-year-old artists revealed in a 2015 interview with Ebro In The Morning that because of his statement on social media, he has been denied opportunities to promote his music and advance in his career.
“At the time, I didn’t think that that was a thing,” shared on-air. “I’ll tell you this situation because this is something that I feel like – quiet as it’s kept – is still the reason why certain things [don’t happen].
“Pictures of [Hailie] had came out, and I’m like, what, 20 years old, 21 at the time? I said ‘She’s beautiful, but all respect due. Eminem is king. What’s wrong with that?”
Well, it seems there’s still something wrong with it from Eminem’s point of view.
Meanwhile, Kelly dropped the official music video for his latest single, “Loco” in August 2018…and you more than likely didn’t even know it.
