Mariah Carey is no stranger to collaborating with some of hip-hop’s biggest and boldest MCs. Throughout her illustrious career, Mimi has worked with Ol’ Dirty Bastard, Busta Rhymes, Da Brat, Missy Elliott and many, many more. During a visit to Bravo TV’s Watch What Happens Live, Carey revealed that she’s looking for Cardi B and Lil Kim to do a remix of one of her Caution tracks, “A No No.”
“I would love for that to happen. The song you guys were just playing, ‘A No No,’ which was originally Lil’ Kim’s song — we love Kim — I was hoping that the three of us could do a collaboration… but if nobody puts it together, it’s not going to happen.”
“A No No” features a sample of Kim’s 1997 song “Crush On You,” which featured Lil Cease and the late, great Biggie Smalls.
Carey’s latest album Caution was released on Nov. 16. In addition to releasing new material, she will be embarking on a tour to support to new project. She also revealed she is open to singing a few songs from Glitter on the tour.
