Following their altercation and Yung Berg’s firing from Love & Hip-Hop Hollywood, the producer’s alleged attack victim Masika Kalysha has finally spoken out. In an interview with Sister 2 Sister, Masika claims that the story surrounding her disagreement with Yung Berg was “erroneous,” and reportedly blown out of proportion. Though Masika admitted that “It’s best that we don’t communicate as we were,” she asserted that Berg’s issue is not physical abuse. “I feel like the only abuse issue that he has is alcohol abuse. I do feel like he has a drinking issue and that’s the issue at this time,” she said. “It was not an abusive situation.” SEE ALSO: Recap: The 10 Craziest Quotes From This Week’s ‘Love & Hip Hop Hollywood’ Initial reports detailed Masika and Berg’s situation as a brutal one. The producer and now-former reality star was accused of choking her and dragging her by the hair. He was also reportedly charged with obstruction of breathing by New York City authorities. Masika, who was alleged left with bruises, now says none of that was the case, and that guests in the “ritzy” hotel called the police. “It was not an abuse situation. He did not attack me; he did not knock me out. He did not beat me up, none of that happened,” she said. Yung Berg posted a photo of Masika’s statement, stating that he “won’t be commenting any further.”
