TMZ’s cameras caught up with Meek in Houston Friday evening (Feb. 3), where he flashed his jewelry and squashed the rumors. “Do it look like I rob people?” he said. “I got about 450 on my neck and about 80 on the wrist. Do it look like I rob people?” The robbery came to light this week with sources hinting the robbery was perceived to be “personal.” Photos and clothes belonging to the rapper were ripped and destroyed as the bandits reportedly made off with $175,000 worth of jewelry.
Police believe the robbery happened between November and late January when the Minaj was traveling. Her team notified police of the robbery on Jan. 27. Fans have picked their sides in Nicki and Meek’s breakup, but that hasn’t stopped the rapper from living life. When asked if he’s spoken to the artist, Meek swiftly replied, “You asking too many f***ing questions about my personal life.”
Meek enjoyed his first batch of Super Bowl festivities on Friday when he hosted a bash at Life Nightclub. DJ Khaled is also in town hosting Pepsi’s LIFEWTR event while Nas, Diplo and DJ Cassidy will help ring in Rolling Stone’s Super Bowl jam.
