You may have thought your favorite artist has the summer on lock, but as soon as the season changes, one of the hottest MMG rappers is coming to take the throne.
The long, anticipated release of Meek Mill’s Dreamchasers 4 has finally been confirmed to hit shelves in the fall. Meek has been releasing his Dreamchasers mixtape series since 2011. Every year, back to back, he released new heat to his fans. The streets loved his Dreamchasers projects, and Meek wants to let the world know he didn’t forget about them. After releasing Dreamchasers 3 in 2013, the raw, uncut rapper is back to release the fourth this year.
Famous producer and songwriter, Jahlil Beats, who has worked in the studio with Meek Mill on his previous projects, took to Periscope to announce the news. The ‘DC4’ project is complete, and Jahlil Beats has earned his way back onto the project, for one of its hit singles.
“The sh*t is ridiculous. Me and my mans K, we was at Meek’s crib, we heard the whole album…heard the whole joint…He got some sh*t man, he talking that real sh*t on this joint,” he said.
He also gave Meek fans the 411 behind why the MMG member took so long to release ‘DC4.’ According to him, Meek didn’t want to rush the project. He has continued to release music, and he dropped another mixtape, 4/4, earlier this year, which was set to hold people over until he perfected ‘DC4.’
Stay tuned for an official release date.
