Nothing has changed with Meek Mill. He’s still that same hungry 16-year-old nappy-headed kid we saw killing sixteens on his Philly blocks. Well, with a consistently clean haircut now. Today (March 20), Milly plugged with XXL to drop visuals to his cocky “Ice Cream Freestyle.”
Over RZA’s and Raekwon’s classic “Ice Cream” instrumental, Meek let loose an array of double entendres as if he’s still trying to get signed to Rozay’s MMG label. Along with spitting realness about blacks falling victim to the prison pipeline system, media not touching on relevant issues, Bobby Shmurda and the Nicki Minaj rumors, Meek clapped off rounds of that North Philly all-black hoodie rap. You know, that hip-hop that goons and monsters bang in trap.
Also recently, The Game linked with Meek for their potent track, “The Soundtrack.”
