Meek Mill continues to give back to his hometown of Philadelphia, this time in the form of music. The MMG cohort announced a PUMA pop-up shop for Labor Day weekend where fans will be able to snag exclusive items designed by the company. But the most prized possession of it all will be Mill’s forthcoming album.
Fans that purchase an item will “be eligible to redeem a download” of Mill’s yet-to-be-titled project. Additionally, a ticket giveaway to the Made In America festival, taking place Sept. 1-2, will be available to attendees. The “Pray For Em” rapper is also scheduled to perform.
“I can’t wait to link up with my fans at the pop-up, thank them for all the love and give away some Made In America tickets,” Mill said via a press release. “It’s going to be a fun weekend and I’m thankful for PUMA’s support in helping bring my vision to life with this collection.” The store is located at 2005 Market Street, Suite 100, and will be open Friday (1 p.m. ET to 8 p.m. ET) and Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. ET to 6 p.m. ET.
At the top of July, Mill released a 4-track soundscape to hold fans over until the highly-anticipated release of his album. Legends of the Summer featured guest appearances from Jeremih, Miguel, Swizz Beatz, and PnB Rock. On one of the project’s songs, “Stay Woke,” the 31-year-old artist addressed police brutality, the criminal justice system, and underserved communities. He also debuted the track at the 2018 BET Awards.
